This is a cruel question, how can I just pick one? Tied for first is CS Lewis, who took me on my first adventure, Stephen King, who terrified and thrilled me, and Brandon Sanderson, who taught me to trace every detail of a story, to find the hidden promises.
There is no finding time, it's all about shaping your priorities. I have made writing a priority. That means staying up late or waking up early, and giving up on other things that I like to (or sometimes need to) do. Right now a pile of dishes is glaring at me and my laundry needs folding, but I'm writing instead.
