If she could reach and out touch his skin, she might be healed of her wants. She sighs, wishing on horses. The bell rings and he leaves, taking with him all the light.

  10. I remember being broken-hearted when my crush didn't even know I was alive. "taking with him all the light" is a wonderful description for it.
