31 Days

Last year I got back into blogging in a trial by fire, by participating in the Nester's 31 Days challenge.  I did 31 Days to Make a House a Home reorganizing and retraining myself in good habits to make my home a better place for my husband and son.  A year later and most of those habits have stuck.  It was challenging and rewarding and one of the most difficult things I have ever done.

This year I'm taking a different approach.  This year I'll be playing to my strengths instead of my weaknesses.  This year I'll be doing something that I love, something that God put on my heart to do since I was very small.

I'm going to write.

I'll have more details for you as we get closer to the first, but I have big plans for this, plans that will hopefully stretch past October 31st and into the months to follow.  And I'm hoping that you'll come with me, that you'll be willing to join me on this journey as I learn more about myself and you through the power of words all strung together to make stories, stories that we can share in.

God bless you, and I'll see you soon!

  1. So, this post reminded me that I had thought about doing the 31 days this year, and after thinking about it a bit, I think I'm in! That's a lot of thinking for one sentence. Thanks for the reminder and can't wait to see how you share your writing! I am still toying with a few ideas that I love and am not sure which I'll land on...

  2. I have my idea, and I've got the outline. I even have my Mom writing for one of the days. I just did a 31 days of sorts, in August and it was a MESS! Though I have to admit I knew it would be, I was trying to find my voice as a writer, and find His leading for my blog. Things are still being fine tuned, but I'm gettin' there! ;-)

I wasn't going to do another 31 Days, but this topic has jumped out to me, and the outline and posts written just flowed...so it seems I'll be joining in! I can't wait to see what you're topic is. :D

    Happy writing!
